Teaching mode/evening classes preferences

Most classes are face-to-face or hybrid and during the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM.

Invigilation Preferences

Please select the options below if you are interested in invigilating in-person or remote in-term assessment. Please note that invigilation of remote students may still involve traveling to UNSW's main Kensington campus.

Invigilation of a given test session typically happens two or three times a term depending on the course, and allocations may not be finalised until Week 2 of the term, after the tutorial schedule/allocations have been decided.

Marking Preferences

There is an expectation that casual tutors will be involved in end of term marking, and preference will be given to prospective tutors who are available to mark.

Bridging Course

Tutorials for the Bridging Course will start in the second week of the exam period, i.e., Week 13 of the current term. They will run for three weeks and may be delivered in HYBRID mode.

List the UNSW Maths & Stats courses you have previously tutored or enter "none" if you are new to tutoring in Maths & Stats at UNSW.
First Year Tutorial preferences
Select your preferences from the options below. You can select as many 1st, 2nd, etc preferences as you like. This indicates your relative preference between courses and some may be equal. Please note that MATH1131/1141/1231/1241 and MATH1151/1251 combine algebra and calculus into the same tutorial (so you would be expected to teach both).

Continuing this term: MATH1081 will be running board tutorials. These will have 22 students who will work in small groups at boards. In addition MATH1081 will have some large optional 100 student tutor-led classes similar to the current format.

For higher year courses- please specify at the end of the form with a special request. Make sure to include the name of the course convenor you have discussed this with.
